Private Training:
Private training offers personalized, one‑on‑one support tailored to your dog’s unique needs. Whether you’re working on basic manners, confidence building, or more complex behavior challenges, individualized sessions allow us to focus on your goals at your dog’s pace.
Training is offered in your home or at our learning studio, allowing us to choose the environment that best supports your dog’s learning. Each session includes personalized coaching, practical exercises, and a clear plan to follow between visits.
What Private Training Can Help With:
-Basic manners (sit, stay, recall, leash walking)
-Puppy foundations and socialization
-Confidence building for shy or nervous dogs
-Reactivity or over‑arousal
-Resource guarding or handling sensitivities
-Household behavior challenges
-Custom training goals based on your dog’s needs
90 Minute In-Home Evaluation:
This session begins with a conversation where we meet you and your dog(s) and gather a detailed history of behavior, routines, and any concerns you’re experiencing. Understanding these key factors helps us identify the areas that need support through training or behavior modification.
During the evaluation, we observe your dog in their home environment, discuss your goals, and outline the most effective strategies for both you and your dog moving forward. Together, we determine a personalized training plan and recommend the program that best fits your family’s needs.
In-Home Vs. In-Studio Training:
In‑home training allows us to work directly in your dog’s everyday environment. This is ideal for household manners, door greetings, leash walking that begins at your home, and behavior concerns that appear in specific rooms or situations. It is also a great option for dogs who are nervous in new places and benefit from learning where they feel safest.
In‑studio training provides a controlled, low‑distraction environment that helps dogs learn new skills more easily. It is well‑suited for puppies, dogs who need fewer distractions to focus, and owners who prefer a neutral training space. The studio is also an excellent setting for reactivity work, where we can safely introduce helper dogs, structured setups, and gradual exposure exercises to help reactive dogs stay calm, build confidence, and practice alternative behaviors without being overwhelmed.
After Your Consultation:
Following your evaluation, most families begin with a package of four private working sessions. These lessons focus on hands‑on training, skill‑building, and real‑life practice in whichever setting—home or studio—best supports your dog.
If additional support is needed, you can always add more working sessions. This flexible structure ensures your dog gets the right amount of guidance without pressure or overwhelm.
How it Works:
-Start with the 90‑minute in‑home evaluation
-Receive a personalized training plan
-Begin a package of four working sessions (in‑home, in‑studio, or a mix)
